A Peek At Who Phoenix Rising Is

Super busy day ahead of me today, but I wanted to speak to you about who I am and where my thoughts go. A glimpse of my authentic self. 

It seems like I've been super busy since January 16th when I made a decision to spread my wings and take to the sky, harnessing the power of the massive tornado that had crashed into my life. Turning all that energy into something amazing.

When I launched my own business and went off on my own, I came out hot. With every intention of shaking things up. I was all in. Ready to take on the world, with a determination I didn't even know I was capable of.
Each day, my determination and drive became stronger and stronger.

I took chances. I did things I wasn't sure I could do. I set goals so high that most people thought I was crazy. Hell, at times I thought I might have lost my mind.

But I fought, and I fought hard. I took chances others wouldn't take. People would say "That won't work" or "It's been tried before"... I shoved my heart into it and proceeded anyway.

I've been nervous, bold, elated, and saddened. I've fought my own demons and I've conquered my own heart.
I went from an unsure girl, always seeking permission and approval, to a confident woman who no longer asks. Grabbing life by the balls and making it my bitch.

I found who I truly was.

​I had evolved.

I'm still evolving, still leveling up. Every single day.

I found that being a powerhouse didn't necessarily equate to having to be an arrogant asshole.
Quite the opposite.

The stronger I get, the more I have to give. The more I can share what it is I found. The more I can help others empower themselves.

I had discovered the tools to take on fear. To walk with my head high and cut my own path. To step out of the societal norms that bind us all and repress our growth. To cast off the chains that limit who we can become.

I found real love.

Love for myself and those that come into my life. Regardless of whether that person is in my life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime.

And I found I had so much strength to give.

To be there for others when they can't see the light. To teach them to be their own light and lend a guiding hand as they discover or acknowledge the power they, themselves are capable of unleashing.
It all started with a focal point. One that was most unusual, especially being female.

To many, it may seem like just a firearm. It may seem like just a classroom.

But for me, it was the catalyst for finding everything I am.

For becoming everything I am.

I do not see death when I look at it.

I see life.

Precious and valuable life, being protected.

And I see healing. Massive healing.

The broken and scared girl who lived a lifetime of trauma is no more.

I'm strong now, and I have so much to give.

I'm beyond blessed to have the opportunity to share that strength with every single person that wants it.

And today, I'm about to level up again. With an opportunity to reach more people.

An opportunity to ask them "Are you ready?".

I've already somewhat succeeded in reaching that goal, because here you are.

So, on this beautiful, still morning...are YOU ready to challenge yourself and become more?
