T-Rex Arms
44800 N Interstate 94 Service Dr

The Basic Youth Handgun Safety and Fundamentals class was created for children of school age and a legal guardian is required to take the class with the child.
In this course, students are taught the basic rules of firearm safety and how to stay safe, should they ever come across a firearm.
The safety rules that will be presented in class will include never touching a firearm unless a parent or guardian is present (and meets the laws listed in 28.422(12) ), and finding an adult if an unattended firearm is found.
Children are VERY likely to attempt to satisfy their fears and curiosity through unattended self-discovery. It is a natural learning process. Introducing children to firearms in a logical and safe manner removes the curiosity surrounding firearms. Through eliminating this curiosity, we can help to curb tragedy that can arise from the child learning through self-discovery.
Our professional Firearm Instructor Team will be teaching this course and working side-by-side with a one-to-one ratio for the optional hands-on learning in the range portion of the class.
We will give a brief introduction to firearms, how they look, what they do, and what their intended purpose is for law abiding citizens. Our goals is for every child leaving this class to have a better understanding and thorough respect of firearms, their seriousness, and their capabilities.
After completing class, we believe your child will be able to have open and honest conversations about firearms with you, and they will be in a better position to handle the challenge of what to do, should they ever come across an unattended firearm.
