Learn the various handgun reload methods and implement them on the range!
Students will leave class with printed dry fire and live fire reload drills.
Students who have completed the Phoenix Rising or T-Rex Arms "Draw From the Holster" class may work from the holster if they choose. Holster restrictions apply. See below.
Prerequisite:
Students shoud have a thourough understanding of firearm safety rules and muzzle control.
Course overview:
4:45 to 4:55 - Students check in and complete waivers
5:00 to 5:20 - Safety overview and reload domonstrations
5:20 to 5:45 - Hands on cold manipulation practice
5:45 to 6:00 - Students will break to gather gear and prep for range
6:00 to 6:50 - Guided live-fire drills in the range
6:50 to 7:00 - Student take-home handouts and certificate of completion
Students will need:
*Their own semi-auto pistol
*Two magazines
*Quality holster (if requirement is met)
*25 rounds of handgun ammunition
*Proper clothing
*Eye and Ear protection
*Notebook and pen/pencil
*$10 range fee
Holster Restrictions:
Serpa holster (any style with trigger finger release), Nylon or Cordura, Shoulder, Cross Draw, Small of the back, Pocket, Sticky, Bang Bra (woman), Inner Thigh (woman), or any holster the Instructor deems unsafe in condition, use, or firearm retention method. These will not be allowed.
Appendix carry will be allowed WITH A MOLDED KYDEX HOLSTER AND PROPER CARRY BELT. No exceptions.
